Kiomy Hernandez
Kiomy Hernandez is the Director of Benefits at ADA Billing Solutions. With over 10 years of experience in the medical billing and revenue cycle industry, Kiomy has developed strong expertise in insurance benefit verification and accurate copay estimation for patient appointments.
In her role, Kiomy ensures that clients receive reliable, timely, and precise insurance information, allowing doctors’ offices to minimize billing errors, improve workflow efficiency, and provide a more transparent financial experience for their patients. She also provides front desk training and support, equipping staff with the knowledge and tools needed to confidently verify benefits, communicate patient financial responsibilities, and improve overall office operations.
Kiomy is passionate about building strong partnerships with healthcare providers and takes pride in delivering services that enhance patient trust and satisfaction. At ADA Billing Solutions, she is committed to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and personalized service, helping clients navigate the complexities of insurance verification with confidence and ease.
Swanise Brown
Swanise Brown is a healthcare operations leader specializing in revenue cycle management (RCM) and provider success, with over six years of experience supporting healthcare organizations and behavioral health providers. She brings a strong track record of improving operational efficiency, optimizing reimbursement processes, and driving results through structured, data-informed strategies.
Currently serving as Operations Manager at ADA Billing Solutions, Swanise leads end-to-end RCM operations for multiple providers. She partners closely with clinical and administrative teams to streamline workflows, resolve complex billing issues, and ensure timely, accurate reimbursements. Her work includes developing performance trackers, overseeing denials management, and implementing process improvements that align operational execution with broader financial and organizational goals.
Throughout her career, Swanise has built deep expertise in claims management, appeals, and payer relations. She has successfully led teams in high-volume environments, managed collections across diverse healthcare settings, and served as a key liaison between providers and payers to resolve systemic challenges. Her experience also includes project implementation, team leadership, and training initiatives that strengthen operational consistency and performance.
Swanise holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Project Management Certification from the University of South Florida. She is highly proficient in a wide range of healthcare systems and tools, enabling her to adapt quickly and drive efficiency across complex environments.
Known for her collaborative approach and attention to detail, Swanise is passionate about improving healthcare delivery through effective revenue cycle strategies and strong provider partnerships.
Laura Kruse
Laura Kruse (formerly Zavalia) is an experienced medical billing professional with over two decades of expertise in the healthcare industry, beginning her career in 2003. She has worked across a wide range of specialties, including Ambulatory Surgical Centers, Cardiology, Durable Medical Equipment, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Infectious Diseases, Mental Health, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Primary Care, and Ultrasound services.
Laura has successfully founded and operated her own medical billing companies in 2009, 2012, and 2026, demonstrating her entrepreneurial leadership and deep understanding of revenue cycle management. In 2022, she earned her Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) credential, further strengthening her commitment to accuracy, compliance, and excellence in coding practices.
Her educational background includes an Associate of Arts in General Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Scientific Photography, and a diploma in Medical Billing. In addition to her professional work, Laura is a commissioned Notary Public.
